About us
The company was established in the year 1992 but the roots reach back to the second half of the 80s when the communist regime opened the market for free enterprise.
At the beginning the production program was specialized in engraved plaques for the signmaking industry, later on in selfadhesive vinyl graphics which boomed the greyish streets of our country shortly after the revolution.
As time went by, in the second half of the 90s as the customers got more ambitious, the company pursues more into a broader reach of the signmaking industry and extends its offer by neon signs, illuminated signs, metal work, spray-painting and installation procedures.
In the meantime the company operates in the whole European union and offers complex services of manufacture and maintainance of all types of illuminated and non-illuminated signs, interior fixtures for hotels, stores, wayfinding systems, aluminium and steel constructions, bronze cast signage.
From 2004, Gravo Art is a partner of UK based Principle Group company which coordinates worldwide rebranding projects of well known global institutions and takes place in these projects in the Eastern Europe region.
In 2009 the company opens a small off- main course „Marine program“ which consisted in prototyping and manufacture of a 3 person custom made aluminium boat for leisure time, the Barracuda 360. Backed by the know-how in aluminium fabrication and supported by experience in water sports activites and sailing of the founder of Gravo Art Radan Karlicek the output is a very rigid and seaworthy small vessel that fills a gap in the aluminium boat market which is flooded by riveted and unstable craft of the same class.
